I think connections are needed. It's another key to survival. as a couple examples, Bill Gates. He didn't get to where he is now without connections, some of the famous movie directors like John Singleton, steven spielberg, all of the most famous movie directors didn'tget to where they were by themselves. They got there by having connections.
I know that in order fo me to succeed in my field of study, i'm going to have connections. i gonna need to know a couple story writers, more animators, editing crew, etc. as i stated earlier, it takes mre than one in order to make it in this world. This doesn't just apply to career choices but all cases, school work, living conditions, everything

TCOTW

In the story, Buck uses his imagination and quick thinking to come up with a plan to take out Spitz. it was like he went into survival mode. He had to come up with a plan quick and he relied on his imagination to do it. Often people use imagination in this way quite often. if necessary, escape routes for peole chasing you, disguises, etc. Crooks in partcular use their imagination often. Coming up with entry routes into a bank, how to get out safely, even though it hardly works, and even coming up with the idea of doing the task. We humans use it without knowing sometimes.
When you look at Columbia College, the whole school is run off of imagination. Everyone is an artist in a way. We all use this tool to come up with new designs, drawings, etc. I'm almost certai that Lynn used her imagination when she gave us this assignment. Like one of the students said, imagination is basically whats keeping us alive. We function normally with it. I would have to say that without it, we would all be dumb slugs struggling to survive.
When you look at my family, only a couple of us, I would say, have an active imagination. Those people would be me, my sister, my little cousin, and my two uncles. I would say me, my sister and my cousin have the most active everyone in my family. Me and my sister have been playing instruments since "time began". We both can read music but we also use our imaginations to come up with new beats and rhythms. Not to mention I'm constantly drawing, which requires a vivid imagination. My cousin, quite obviously, has a very active imagination. She is a ten year old who thinks like a high school student, artistically. I said all that to say this, imagination is what makes the world operate properly. We all have it, it's just some of us use it more than others.

By reading this i would say that this quote means there is more to life than just going to school and coming home and gossiping about stupid things. That part of life would be the smaller piece of general life. Like London said, "Those lives--the going to school and work, hanging out with friends, caring about who said what to whom and who wore what to where--that is the life that we need to reject." To me, that's the useless par of life. That what i would say would be the smaller part of life. There is more to life than that.

It’s possible for an animal to be smart but they can’t think like humans. Humans have the ability of breaking things down into little bitty pieces and bit by bit put it all together again. So far from what scientists have discovered, the smartest animal isn’t able to think on that level. I do think they are getting smarter as the days go on but so are humans. We are adapting to the new technology and everyday getting smarter. All animals can do is watch and learn a little of what we do, which brings me to my next point. I think humans are the smartest species on the planet. That’s the one thing that makes humans, humans. As we get smarter, we are stretching the differences between us and other species. Will animals take over in the future, only god knows, but I highly doubt it.
